Chinese-English Tea Terminology Specialized English.
The prerequisites are students have some basics in the following:
(1) Tea studies: tea cultivation, recognizing tea, tea tasting, brewing, tea history, and such.
(2) Also the fundamentals of English especially in articulation.
Last week’s homework was to describe a “tea’s character”,
and today (March 31, 2010) was great they came in, prepared and these students took the knowledge they knew and by applying the Tea terminology from our previous few session and described in English a tea that they experienced. They expressed poetic metaphors, brewing tips, etc., it was a complete course-class in itself, and I am honored to teach this course for I always learn something new. I think the greatest achievement a teacher can hope for, is to inspire. And these motivated students make my job easy.
